Lindstrand AeroPlatforms, a subsidiary of AeroPlatforms plc, owns and operates HiFlyers.

 

A HiFlyer is a helium filled balloon: an Aerostat. It is tethered to the ground by a cable, controlled by a winch which raises or lowers the HiFlyer. It is silent when operating and can be illuminated internally.

 

The HiFlyer carries a gondola with up to 30 passengers, lifting them to a height of 400 ft/125 metres to enjoy spectacular views. It can make 4 flights per hour.

 

The company was set up to answer a growing demand by tourist sites, leisure parks  and holiday destinations who wished to bring this attraction to their location but lacked the expertise whilst providing an exciting platform for outdoor advertising and sponsorship.

 

 

The addition of a HiFlyer can bring significant increases in visitor numbers to a location.

 

Our first site is at Leeds Castle - and others are being explored.
