Advertising and sponsorship

LAP works with clients wishing to use the HiFlyer as a sponsorship or advertising medium.

 

A HiFlyer has a highly visible balloon envelope with a 221ft/69m circumference – effectively a spectacular poster site

· stands 120ft/35m when ready for flight

· balloon normally goes up 400ft/125m, up to 4 times per hour, gently rotating whilst it is in flight

· balloon is “alive”: movement constantly attracts attention

· can be internally illuminated at night

· on flat ground, the balloon visible for over 10 miles/16km.

· can either have advertising message painted onto the fabric or carry banners

· Gondola sides available too to carry 8 smaller banners

 

 

 

At Leeds Castle

The HiFlyer at Leeds Castle is within 500m of the M20, the A20, commuter trains to London and the Eurostar (7.8 million passengers in 2006 and rising), so will be seen by many millions

 

 

Opportunity

There is the opportunity to partner the Leeds Castle HiFlyer. This partnership could potentially include:

· naming rights

· branding of the platform itself and the enormous balloon (70m in circumference)

· branding of various promotional materials around it. i.e. on the DVD of the ride for people to buy in the gift shop and ticketing area

· working with media such as the local radio station, sponsoring local weather reports

· working with the local community on special sponsorship opportunities

· corporate events at Leeds Castle and on the Balloon

· media coverage that will occur because this will be the first of its kind in the UK

· opportunities to use the balloon as part of overall promotional activities
